- 100 mlcocktail of your choice, chilledcocktail of your choice, chilled

Equipment
- Old-fashioned glass
- Spherical ice mould
- Culinary syringe with a long needle (4cm or longer)
- Muddler or small hammer
Method
Fill the spherical ice mould base with water to the maximum line.
Close the mould with the silicone cap.
Place on a freezer rack in the coldest area.
Flip the mould halfway through freezing.
Remove the unfrozen water from the top hole.
Run the sphere under a cold tap for 30 seconds.
Use the syringe with a rotating motion to create a hole, then extract the interior water.
Slowly fill the hollow sphere with the chilled cocktail via the syringe.
Carefully place the sphere in an old-fashioned glass.
Serve with a hammer or muddler so the drinker can crack the sphere open.
Notes
Freezing time varies, typically 2–3 hours. Aim for a wall thickness of about 5mm.
