Equipment

Method
Pour the whiskey and honey into a mug or heat-proof glass.
Add the cloves and cinnamon stick, then top up with freshly boiled water.
Stir in a slice of lemon, adding just enough juice to balance the honey.
Leave to cool to drinking temperature before serving.
Notes
An apple slice can be used in place of lemon; it softens in the heat.
